My New Bike!

I got a new bike early for Mother's Day!

She's a Huffy cruiser, so means she has high handlebars, which is awesome because my hands don't go numb when I ride her.

She's a classic, so she has pedal brakes and no gears.  Remember when we were kids?

She's gorgeous - different tones of brown and some cute blue accents.

I got a cute blue helmet to match.

She's got some nice extras - a small wire basket...

A cup holder...

A rear rack...

Her name is Coco.

For my birthday in July I think she'll be upgrading to an even bigger wicker basket for my front handlebars...YAY!

Do you like to ride?  What kind of bike do you have?  Where do you ride?  Let me know!  I'd love to hear from you!

  10. What a lovely Mother's Day gift!

I love to bike all over town--on the bike trails, to the park, to the grocery store, and to pick up my daughter from school! I would ditch our motor vehicles in a second if it were practical.

  14. Coco has a cup holder? How civilized!!
Have you been out on her yet?
I have a basic bike which was bought in England and moved here with us. I'm not very diligent at maintenance, but it does just fine for short trips and sometimes I bike to the train station and take the train to work... makes a nice change.

Thank you for taking the time to hop over and comment on my engagement post last week. You have a great story too! I broke a few rules for my hubby. ;)I love that he proposed at the top of a ferris wheel, how romantic!

  16. What a great gift (and such a beautiful one!) I don't have a bike now, but this does bring back some great memories of when I did. I hope you have many wonderful hours riding it. :-)
